I just want to warn potential students that Louise House’s website is VERY misleading. This is particularly relevant if you are coming from far away and cannot visit before signing the tenancy agreement, like us - don’t rely on what they tell you or the computer-generated photographs on the website. We have had trouble from day 1, and they are good at saying they will do something but almost never do. No security on site, none of the COVID safe practices that are promised on the website, accommodation that is tired and worn. Also bear in mind that they have a constant stream of short term overseas students doing language courses, so you may have many different flatmates over the course of a year. The on-site management have no control over residents or lets (they don’t even know who lives there!) and its impossible to contact the landlord directly as they use multiple agencies between Louise House and the landlord. Worst decision we ever made. We are making a formal complaint through an external ombudsman.

Lovely staff, 24/7 security and great location. Quite expensive but reasonable for Westminster. Would recommend for any student wanting to live in central London.
The only recommendable thing about this place is its location - very easy to get around, with shops nearby; very convenient. The conditions inside the building are far from what it looks like in the photos on their website. Some of the rooms are tiny and most are poorly lighted due to the direction and sizes of the windows. Some floors stink of damp rotten carpets. All the bathrooms are shared and poorly managed, not hygienic at all. Some bathrooms are very dirty; if the bathrooms on your floor are clean, i.e. you and your flatmates clean them, then you risk having your bathrooms used by residents of other floors (or staff), which is quite annoying... Staff are unprofessional. There is very little waste management; no organised recycling. Fire safety is very poor - staff often use fire extinguishers to keep fire exit open. Low hygienic conditions and safety standards, as you can see in the photos. Another bonus is washing machines and tumble dryers are free to use, but be prepared to find them often break down.
